As part of the Science, Technology, Engineering &amp; Mathematics (STEM) Career Cluster, this pathway helps learners build foundational skills in problem solving, engineering design processes, applied math and science, and hands-on technical applications. Students explore real-world engineering concepts and project-based activities that connect classroom learning to careers in fields like mechanical, civil, electrical, aerospace, and industrial engineering. Through sequenced coursework and opportunities such as work-based learning and student organizations, this cluster supports pathways to post-secondary education, industry certifications, and high-demand careers in Georgia\u2019s workforce.<\/p>\n<p>Students taking this exciting honors level pathway will design, create and produce products, machines and processes from scratch. The sky is the limit for an engineering student at NHHS. Students sharpen teamwork and communication while connecting with peers across Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>Electrathon Racing\u00a0Team \u2014 Our electric go-kart isn&#8217;t just for learning\u00a0\u2014 We have a full-fledged racing team!\u00a0\u00a0Students design and build a lightweight, high-efficiency electric vehicles, optimizing aerodynamics and battery use to travel as far as possible in a one-hour endurance race.
