2025 Seniors FAQ.
Parents and guardians of North Hall High School, please ensure you have an Infinite Campus parent portal account and you know your login information. Parents and guardians will need to complete online forms prior to the next school year including forms to complete the Parent Permission Form to Check Out a Chromebook. These forms will be completed online. If you need a parent portal account use your laptop or desktop computer and go to www.hallco.org, then to the Parent Toolbox. If you already have a parent portal and need to reset your password, email sonya.cleveland@hallco.org . Please INCLUDE YOUR STUDENT’S FULL NAME in your email.
How do I change my password for my Parent portal
The reset password button only works if the parent has their email address listed under the ‘Account Settings’ area on Portal. It is not connected to the same email address listed under their contact settings. It can be the same email but portal needs it in the parent portal settings.

New info: How do I check out my child during the school day?
If you need to check out your child, notify us regarding an absence, an email is preferred. Email our front office northhallhigh@hallco.org
If you need to call, you may reach Mrs. Miller by pressing 2 during the prompts. During high volume calling periods, you may leave a message. Please do not leave multiple messages. Your call will be processed in the order it is received.
Please include the student’s first and last name, parent’s name, and what time the student should leave campus.
If your student drives or your student is 18, you must give permission for your child to leave campus.
All students must check out through the front office. Stop and pick up your check out slip.

My student is dual enrolled, is never on campus, or misses homeroom, how do I know what goes on in homeroom?
All North Hall High School students have access to advisement in canvas. Please check canvas frequently.
How do seniors and parents sign up to receive information for Seniors by text?

When will seniors order cap and gowns?
Seniors will meet Jostens in the fall of their senior year. Jostens will provide a link to order the cap, gown, tassel and diploma. Once the date is determined, it will be on the our calendar, on the front page of our website. Links to order cap and gown will be handed out to students. If your student does not receive the link, they can find the link in the news feed of the website front page.
When will Seniors order announcements?
Seniors will order once Jostens provides a link. That senior meeting usually happens in the fall and once the date is determined, you will be able to find that on the front page of website. Links are available in the front office or in the website news feed.
How do I order a Yearbook and or Senior Ad for my senior?
You may go to Trojanyearbook.com and order your yearbook beginning in August of a new school year. Also create a senior ad page for your senior on the Trojanyearbook.com website
DON’T DELAY, price will increase and there is a chance of selling out.
How do I print a grade report for my child?
You will need to go to your parent portal to print a grade report.
When will the letter come out with Graduation information?

Students will receive a letter in the Spring with graduation information, number of tickets, all remaining date information, once ALL dates are determined
When is Senior Breakfast?
Seniors need parent volunteers Breakfast is served to Seniors @ 7:30 am the morning of Yearbook Day. Gym will be open @ 7 am for seniors. Yearbook day is determined and listed on our school calendar, found on the front page of the website.
When is Yearbook Day?
Yearbooks will be distributed after assembly on May 3, 2024
How many tickets will each graduate receive for graduation?
Number of tickets will be determined as we get closer to graduation.
All information regarding tickets will be sent out on the information
sheet that will come out in the Spring before graduation . Dates will cover all activities from April until Graduation.
What if someone would like to purchase a banner for their senior?
Permission is granted by The Pittman’s to NHHS to use the area of fence for displaying
Banners. That information is unknown until the senior information sheet is available in the Spring before Graduation
Banner stores usually know the appropriate size, generally 3 x 6.

When will seniors portraits be taken for seniors?
Seniors should have a picture made with Tux/Gown Summer before they begin their Senior year for the yearbook.
Seniors will have two summer sessions. The first session is in June and a second session is in July. There will only be one day during the school year to have a photo made for the yearbook. Please refer to our calendar on the front page of our website for that information.
Please try to schedule an appointment during the summer. If you miss all dates provided, unfortunately, your senior photo will not be in the yearbook.

Our school code is 108463. Each senior will receive their individual number for ordering.
If you are not on campus during the school day, please check with Mrs. West – adrienne.west@hallco.org for proofs that you will need for ordering.
What is the earliest time a student can enter the building?
Our main doors to the school open at 7:30. Students stay in the lobby until 7:40. At that time, they are released to the Cafeteria or gym until 8:12 when they are released to classrooms. Classes begin @ 8:25
How do I excuse an absence for my child
Please send a note with your child when your child returns to school. Or you may email Stephanie.gibson@hallco.org. It is not necessary to notify the school by phone on the day of your child’s absence. Absences are unexcused without a doctor excuse, parent excuse, etc.
What time is my child considered tardy?
Class begins @ 8:25. Students are tardy after the 8:25 bell rings.
I have moved, how do I change my address?
You will need to go to your parent portal to change your address. Click here for instructions
Do I qualify for BETA Club?
Invites will go out for BETA Fall 2023
Do I qualify for National Honor Society?
If you qualify for NHS, you will be invited. Invites usually go out in November. Dues for first-time members are $20 to join. You must participate in designated service projects (at least 1 per semester). You must log a minimum of 20 service hours into Infinite Campus and a copy given to Mrs. Evelyn Harper at the end of the school year. Stoles are $20 to represent the NHS for Graduation.
How do I ask for my transcript to apply for college my senior year?
Transcripts are processed through our Counseling Office. You will need an official transcript while
applying to colleges. Check out our website, student services page for lots of important information: nhhs.hallco.org
How do I get my unofficial transcript for an Insurance discount?
Go to your Infinite Campus Portal, reports tab and print the unofficial transcript.
We suggest everyone print a copy when final transcripts are complete, usually around June 1st.

How will seniors know when banners will be able to be put on the fence?
That information will be included with the Senior Important Information sheet released in the Spring before graduation.
What if I owe any fees or fines, Media, lunchroom, etc at the end of the senior year?
Your cap and gown, tickets and/or diploma are at risk of being held until ALL FEES or FINES are PAID!
Students may talk to our Media or Lunchroom staff for those fees.
When will seniors get cords and stoles?
Pathway cords, Honor Cords and stoles will be distributed to students at the graduation ceremony. Beta Club, National Honor Society cords or stoles are received from the Club sponsor.
When will seniors purchase stoles for Beta and National Honor Society?
Beta stoles are paid for through dues. Stoles are handed out prior to graduation. National Honor Society will owe $20, if you are a member. You will receive a remind message from Evelyn Harper.
My child will drive to school, how do I apply for a parking permit?
You must complete the parking permit application found on our website NHHS.hallco.org
Also, complete the Acknowledgement and Authorization Form and bring it when you pick up your permit.
My senior has a funds on their lunch account, how do I request a refund or donate the money?
If your child has money left at the end of their senior year, you can request a refund or donate the funds by going to the Hall County Nutrition website
