Agriculture

The Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources Career Cluster in Georgia focuses on the wide range of careers connected to growing, producing, processing, marketing, financing, distributing, and developing agricultural products and natural resources. It covers work with food, fiber, wood products, plants, animals, horticulture, forestry, and other agricultural resources. Students explore skills and knowledge that prepare them for jobs in areas like animal science, plant science, forestry and natural resources, horticulture, and related business and technical fields. This cluster helps learners understand how agriculture supports Georgia’s economy and offers pathways into college programs, technical careers, and workforce opportunities in one of the state’s most important industries.

Students taking these exciting courses will have hands-on experiences with animals, the Hall County Agribusiness Center, the NHHS Greenhouse, industry level equipment and more.
